Bronwyn and Merlin’s visit
Bronwyn and Merlin and their families came to visit last Sunday. Miraculously, it wasn’t raining!! Unfortunately I had my camera set on a very low resolution so my pics didn’t turn out as well as I’d hoped. Oops.

Merlin on the walkway, Bronwyn leaping up the stairs, and Clover watching

Bronwyn watching the sheep. I think herding might be in her future. :)

Bronwyn still watching the sheep. Or maybe the poultry. Or both.

Bronwyn and her dad. Dandy appears to be winking.

Merlin patiently waiting to be let into the pasture. :)

Ginny and Clover checking out Bronwyn

Clover chewing on a chicken foot.

Storm and Conrad looking bored and slightly annoyed lol.

Clover being Clovery.

New pictures of Archie
Storm and Dandy’s son Archie from the 2009 litter is turning into a magnificent collie. I have no idea where he got all his fur!!!

Sheep and poultry
We had a new lamb born today from our young Katahdin ewe…we really didn’t think she’d have a lamb this year! And he’s a big one!

He’s running!

Here’s the new guy with his mom. He definitely takes after his dad, our Scottish Blackface ram

The ewe lambs, about a month old now, checking out the new guy

He has a really furry face!

Considering he’s only a few hours old, he’s really got it together! :)

our tom turkey. he has spring fever.

one of our little bantam d’uccle hens (we have two)

one of the twin ewe lambs, about a month old

Snow pictures, February 2011
We had a pretty heavy snowfall last week and the boys, dogs and I took a walk.

The snow on the trees in our pasture

Three dogs walking

Dandy, very proud that he just hopped the fence INTO the pasture

Dandy posing

Our road, looking towards our house

Our barn with sheep in the snow

Scottish blackface ram and romney ewe in snow

The sun came out while we were walking

I didn’t get many pics of the puppies because they never stopped moving!

Clover in the snow

Conrad in the snow

And finally, a picture of Storm, who was visiting Cascade Mountain Collie Farm at the time :)
